Our 27th annual conference will take place on March 19th and 20th at the McKimmon Conference Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Registration for the NC WRRI annual conference is open until March 11th.
This annual conference, hosted by the Water Resources Research Institute, brings together academics, utilities, consultants, nonprofits, state and federal agencies, among many others working in various water resources sectors. Session topics for the 2025 conference include:
- Water quality and quantity
- Flooding
- Forest management
- Climate impacts
- Emerging technology
- Water policy
- Water and wastewater treatment
- Community engagement
- & more!
Many presentations feature research from current or previous WRRI-facilitated student, faculty, and community collaborative research projects. The conference will also feature oral and poster presentations, interactive sessions, and lightning talks showcasing a variety of water-related topics.
Several registration tiers are available for students, regular registrants, and nonprofit and government exhibitors. Current NC Water Resources Association members are eligible to receive a discounted registration to the WRRI Conference.
Businesses and corporations interested in attending the conference should consider supporting NC WRRI with a sponsorship. Sponsors receive complimentary registration and exhibit space. The deadline for exhibitors and sponsors is February 21st.
