Registration Now Open for the 2025 NC Water Resources Annual Conference
North Carolina’s Water Resources Research Institute will host the 27th NC Water Resources Annual Conference on March 19th and 20th. The conference will be held in person at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. Registration for the 2025 Annual Conference is now open. Rates and additional information can be found on the NC WRRI website.
The WRRI Annual Conference brings together researchers, students, practitioners, nonprofits and state agency staff with the common goal of sharing and distributing the latest water research and providing networking space to connect and learn from each other.
Oral and poster presentations, interactive sessions, and lightning talks will showcase a variety of water-related topics. Highlights include water quality and quantity, flooding, forest management, climate impacts, emerging technology, water policy, water and wastewater treatment, community engagement, and more. The draft agenda will be available on the conference website in late January.
WRRI invites interested businesses and organizations to sponsor this year’s event. Sponsors help make it possible for WRRI to facilitate this premier venue for sharing the latest information and research on water resources in the state. Sponsors receive complimentary registration and exhibit space. WRRI is also pleased to offer the opportunity for nonprofits and government agencies to exhibit at the conference.
WRRI expects to offer professional development hours (PDHs) for geologists, soil scientists, and engineers. WRRI is an approved sponsor for NCBELS (License # S-0302) and is also a pre-approved provider with the NC Board for Licensing of Geologists.
