Submit abstracts by November 18th

The North Carolina Water Resources annual conference brings together all sectors and disciplines working in water resources across North Carolina. Conference participants will get the opportunity to engage with water utilities, students, consultants, academics, nonprofits, state agency staff, among many others, working across diverse water fields.

The 2025 event will take place on March 19-20 in Raleigh.

NC WRRI is now accepting abstracts for presentations, panels, training sessions, lightning talks, or other presentation formats. The call for abstracts is open until November 18th at 5pm.

“We’re excited to read the submitted abstracts, which we use to plan our conference agenda,” says Kaitlin Tucker, NC WRRI coordinator for research and engagement. “We’re hoping to include a variety of presentation types and topics at this year’s conference.”

A wide range of water resources related topics are eligible to be submitted. Possible presentation topics include water quality and quantity, flooding, emerging contaminants, nutrient management, modeling and monitoring, water and wastewater treatment, erosion control, stormwater management, water policy and planning, education and community engagement, and more.
