North Carolina’s Water Resources Research Institute is issuing an open call for undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts for a chance to participate in the Student Lightning Talk Competition during the all-virtual 2021 NC WRRI Annual Conference on March 25 and 26.

Participants will talk for seven minutes about their research, with three minutes devoted to questions, during a session showcasing the exciting work of student researchers around the state. Contestants are automatically entered into the competition and will be judged by the attending audience with the winner receiving an award.

Plan to submit abstracts early as space is limited.

Abstract submission is open through 5 p.m. on Feb. 26. Go online to: wrri.ncsu.edu/conference.

If you need to make a change to a submitted abstract, please contact John Fear at jmfear@ncsu.edu.
